When I collected my teenage daughter and some of her friends from Frankie and Benny's the other evening I refused Helen's request to change the in-car entertainment to Radio Aire. Instead I forced them all to endure the CD which I had been enjoying on my way into Wakefield: Close to the Edge. We were into the seventeenth minute and the girls thought there must surely be some malfunction of the CD player for the display to regiser 16:43, and there were only three tracks on the CD!
